Location and Geography

    • Comprises the largest plain in the Philippines with total land area of 2,136,706 hectares divided into seven (7 ) provinces : Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales. The City of San Fernando, Pampanga is the regional center. Angeles and Olongapo are the region’s highly-urbanized cities.
    • Central Luzon is strategically located at the heart of Luzon, bordered by the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley to the north; National Capital Region and CALABARZON to the south; and of waters of Manila Bay to the south; South China Sea to the west; and The Philippine Sea to the east.
